An elaborate contemporary Indian necklace centered around the majestic bird motif, dressed with polki/uncut diamonds using the traditionaljadaitechnique. The eye of the bird is decorated withchudiwork.
The bird is suspended in the air from a rectangular piece of nephrite,kundan-set with diamonds. On either side of the nephrite are circular units colored in bright bluemeenaand inlaid with akundan-set polki in the center. The units are bordered by a line of seed pearls usingchakkar piraai.
The necklace is strung on lines of seed pearls, which meet at finials handcrafted usingpatwawork.
